Pearson has reported a pre-tax loss of £2.6bn for 2016, the largest in its history, after a droop at its US education operation. The Pearson Charitable Basis was closed in November of 2014 for using foundation funds to develop Widespread Core merchandise. He’s particularly critical of the variety of multiple-selection questions that Texas state assessments feature, but says few in the Legislature wish to hear concerning the drawbacks of such exams.
Pearson has aggressive lobbyists, high-notch advertising and a highly expert sales group. And if the coed drops out, Pearson partners with the American Council on Training to offer the GED exam for a revenue.
